The album was available regionally and by mail order at the time and re-released nationally in 2002 by Hip-O Records. After joining a singing group his family realized his musical potential and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in order for the young singer to pursue a musical career.Īt the young age of eleven, the talented youngster joined a music group called the “NuBeginnings” with whom he released the album “Nubeginning Featuring Usher Raymond IV” in 1991.
Usher took his first musical steps at the local church with the youth choir in Chattanooga, where he grew up. Known simply as Usher he was destined to conquer the R&B music scene.
